July 11th was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A and I decided to blog (and vlog!) about it JUST BECAUSE.
I have a sincere appreciation for those who don’t care what others think and are 100% okay with looking “udderly” silly when it comes to free food. It brings me so much joy!
My friends and I dressed up for Cow Appreciation Day every year in high school. Those are some of my favorite memories. I’m so thankful for friends who never minded doing life a little differently than most. Whether we were dressing up as the Glee cast for the midnight premier or making music videos at Yogurt Bar and Snap Fitness, we were always finding ways to spice up our everyday.
I took a little piece of them with me to Cow Appreciation Day.
Chick-fil-A was our place (and McAlister’s, of course).
We would go by Chick-fil-A to get milkshakes every Saturday after dinner. We weren’t (and still aren’t) sorry about it.
NO MEAL WAS COMPLETE WITHOUT ONE (we could get away with it back then).
We began referring to it as “CFA” for short.
It became a part of us.
We lived and breathed Chick-fil-A.
I’ll never forget the first time I texted my college friends, “Let’s go to CFA!!!” and (clearly confused) they responded, “WHERE?????”
Don’t worry, I forgave them…but it wasn’t easy.
Anyway, the reason for making this Cow Appreciation Day vlog is simple. I love Chick-fil-A and a whole lot of other people do, too. Because I am trying my best to make the most of where I am, I thought this would be a fun way to do just that.
Again, my thoughts were, “WHY NOT???”
So, I did!
Cow Appreciation Day is a simple, fun, and lighthearted way of showing your love for Chick-fil-A.
And the place was PACKED. It looked like a herd of cows had just walked in (I’m sorry, I had to).
Thank you to everyone who participated! I couldn’t have done it without you! Seriously. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST! Whether you smiled, waved, or MOOOOOed for the camera, your willingness to help me make this video (and just trust me in general) is appreciated more than you know! I hope everyone enjoyed their free entrée!
SIDE NOTE: Please know I do not doubt your love for Chick-fil-A if you didn’t participate in Cow Appreciation Day!
